Terms of Service for Domestic Workers

These Worker Terms of Service (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of the DomestiPro platform as a worker. By creating a worker profile or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. About DomestiPro
DomestiPro is a platform that connects domestic and home service workers with employers. DomestiPro is not an employer, recruiter, or employment agency. Workers operate as independent individuals and are responsible for their own services.
2. Eligibility
To register as a worker, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Be legally allowed to work in South Africa
3. Worker Profile Information
You agree to:
- Provide correct personal details
- Keep your profile information up to date
- Use respectful and professional language
You may not impersonate another person or provide misleading information.
4. Verification
Verification is optional unless required for certain features or job applications.
Verification may include:
- Identity confirmation
- Phone number consistency checks
- Reference checks with previous employers
- Role-based screening where applicable (not police clearance)
Verification is time-limited and expires with your paid subscription.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
- Some features require a paid subscription
- All paid subscriptions include verification services
- Payments may be made via bank deposit, EFT or secure online payment.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once verification has started
- DomestiPro may change pricing with reasonable notice.
6. Worker Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Delivering services professionally
- Agreeing on terms directly with employers
- Your own transport, tools, and availability
- Complying with applicable laws
DomestiPro is not responsible for work performance or disputes.
7. Ratings & Reviews
- Employers may rate and review workers after services.
- Reviews must be honest and respectful
- DomestiPro may remove abusive or false reviews
- Ratings do not guarantee future work
8. Job Applications & Matching
- Only verified workers may apply to certain job posts
- Matching does not guarantee employment
- Employers make final hiring decisions
9. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Provide false information
- Circumvent verification checks
- Harass employers or other users
- Use the platform for illegal activities
Violation may result in suspension or termination.
10. Suspension & Termination
DomestiPro may suspend or remove profiles that:
- Violate these Terms
- Receive repeated serious complaints
- Pose safety or trust risks
You may request account closure at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
DomestiPro is not liable for:
- Employment outcomes
- Employer actions
- Loss of income
- Personal disputes between users
Use of the platform is at your own risk.
12. Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to the DomestiPro Privacy Policy. Verification documents are kept confidential and are not publicly shared.
13. Changes to These Terms
DomestiPro may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of updated Terms.
